Stop calling them soft skills

Every time I try to explain the services I provide to organisations in:

  • Leadership

  • Communication

  • Personal mastery

  • Diplomacy

  • Resilience

  • Public Speaking

  • Strategy & Innovation

It’s invariably classified as “soft skills”.

These skills are often an afterthought for many organisations.

And for business owners? We barely have time to consider them.

“Not a necessity, not important, we don’t have time to do training in these.”

But in reality, these are the skills we need to:

  • Build successful careers

  • Create authentic connection

  • Communicate our vision

  • Find innovative solutions

  • Lead teams and organisations

  • Present the best version of us

  • Flow through difficult situations

In other words? They aren’t the soft skills.

I call them CORE skills.

The skills that set us apart from others, that grow our career.

Every person who starts their career *should* be educated in these core skills that will last a lifetime, transform our impact, and achieve our professional vision.

But very few education providers or organisations provide this.

Even some of the most senior leaders I’ve coached have never had formal training in these capacities, and crave it.

That’s why I’m launching INVINCIBLE @ WORK.

A 12-week professional skills program that will level you up in all of those topics.

A leadership program that you can ask your workplace to pay for (I provide invoicing with full details), or that you invest in yourself for.

One that you will emerge from feeling confident, competent, and empowered.

Armed with the skills you need to take your career to the next level.

As part of the launch, I’ll be providing 3 free webinars over the coming weeks to help you apply some tools to your current skillset.

These free webinars will also arm you with the knowledge of what professional skills need honing in on to assist you in your career / leadership, and you can use them to make a decision on whether the 12 week program is vital for you.

If you’re interested in the sound of this, or if you just agree that these are not soft skills but in fact VITAL skills?

You’ll be the first to know right here - we launch in just a week. 🥳

❤️ Sharon
